Car
Our main campus is in the south east of York within walking and cycling distance of, or a short bus ride from, the city centre. While we understand the need for people to drive to, and park at the University, we encourage other means of transport to be considered where possible.
If parking at the University you can use one of our pay-and-display car parks, which operate on a first come, first served basis. Payment can be made by debit/credit card or via your mobile phone using PayByPhone. When paying for parking, please only use the dedicated PayByPhone app / phone number displayed in the car park. The price is £8 per day. If you have a blue badge or University disability permit, you can park in accessible bays.
Train
York is a major national rail hub with fast direct links (2 hours or less) to most major cities. The University bus service operates from the station to campus, for more information see the University Transport pages
