Transport
Parking
If you are driving to the venue, a member of the team can pre-book a space for you in the University’s Gower Car Park, located on Highfield Campus. Due to limited space bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance.
If you would like to use this service, please email esme.brinsden@soton.ac.uk with your registration number. You will receive a booking reference number which you must check in with on arrival to the car park with the on-duty attendent.
Alternatively, the University also has a Pay and Display Car Park located on Highfield Campus. This car park operates on a first come, first served basis. For more information about the University’s Pay and Display parking please follow the UoS Short Stay Parking webpage.
Bus
The University runs a Unilink bus service which connects Highfield Campus to Southampton Central Station, Southampton Airport Parkway and the city centre.

Train
If you are arriving to Southampton by train the nearest stations to Highfield Campus are Southampton Central Station and Southampton Airport Parkway. The Unilink bus service operates from both stations, but taxis are also available.

Plane
Southampton Airport is a 20 minute bus journey from Highfield Campus via the Unilink bus service. Taxis are also available. Southampton Airport receives flights from UK airports, Europe and the Channel Islands.
Heathrow Airport is 60 miles from Southampton. You can travel directly to Southampton via the National Express coach service from Heathrow T2 & T3. You can also catch the Heathrow Express train service to Paddington station in central London. Once in London you can catch a direct train to Southampton.
